When I was starting up my homelab after an outage of a year, or so it just didn’t feel right to set everything up with old standards :D. So starting from scratch I decided to setup my new AD server on a Windows Server 2019 (insider preview). The default domain and functional level during the AD setup are 2016 and I decided to just go with the default…. Bad choice…

Back to 2012R2 Domain and Functional levels it is!!
